Michael leads the advice team at our health insurance partner, Money Service. He has more than 17 years’ experience in private medical insurance, having worked across both insurer and broker roles. This combined experience gives him a strong understanding of the market from multiple perspectives, and how different providers and policies compare.

He began his career as an insurance consultant at a leading UK provider, soon progressing up to team leader. It was here that Michael started to build his in-depth product knowledge and developed a reputation for putting clients first.

Michael then joined Howden as a broker, so he could really broaden his expertise across the wider market. Advising on a range of insurers gave him a deeper insight into how different policy options stack up in practice, helping him guide people towards the most suitable cover for their needs.

Today, Michael focuses on delivering unbiased advice at Money Service. His approach is centred on keeping things clear and simple, making sure the key features and differences between policies are easy to understand without losing the important detail.

Outside of work, Michael is heavily involved in football. He plays regularly, coaches an under-eights team and also referees matches, reflecting his enjoyment of teamwork and helping others develop.
